400年以上の歴史を誇る焼物の産地、長崎県波佐見町の職人によって丁寧に作られています。

昔から柔軟な発想と探究心が強く、新たな技術を開発することによって、時代にあった機能的で独創的なものを生み出すその姿は、現在も途切れることなく継承されています。

急須は、本体・蓋・茶漉し・注ぎ口・取手の沢山の部材を別々に成型し付け合わせて、焼き上げ手間暇かけて茶道具のひとつとして完成させていきます。
少し小さめのこの急須は、湯呑に対して約2.5杯入る容量となっており、お茶の旨味が凝縮された最後の一滴まで味わうことができます。

本体が球体に近い形状により茶葉がお湯の中で対流しやすく、また茶漉し部分は金属臭のない半球型の磁器製のもので、お茶本来が持つ香りや美味しさを最大限に引き出してくれます。

また、湯呑は香りを集中させ、楽しめるよう飲み口が狭いつぼみ型状。
口当たりが良く、旨味や甘味を最初に感じられるよう舌先に落ちるよう設計されています。
さらにこの曲線や丸みは手の収まりや馴染みが良く、安心感や癒しを与えてくれます。

●桐箱
博物館や美術館の収蔵品の修復を手がけている職人によって作られています。古くから縁起が良い、幸福をもたらす木として尊ばれています。
その性質は燃えにくく、発火点が約400℃以上と言われ、火事や水害で桐箪笥の衣類や大切なものが無事だった話しもあります。
さらに防虫や腐食に強い成分が含まれている為、骨董品や美術品などを入れる箱として長年用いられています。

また伸長率、収縮率が小さく狂いが少ない為、気密性の高い外気温度、湿度に影響されにくく日本の四季でも大切なものを長期保管、保存することに適しています。

・電子レンジは必ず食材や飲み物を入れてお使いください。また加熱後すぐに水に浸す等、急激な温度変化は破損の原因となりますのでお避けください。
・食器洗浄器でのご使用の際、詰め込み過ぎは破損の原因となりますのでご注意ください。
・ひびや亀裂が入った際は、直ちにご使用をおやめください。

●はじめに
・ご使用前に食器用洗剤や中性洗剤を柔らかいスポンジにつけ、やさしく洗いぬるま湯で洗い流してからお使いください。

●お手入れ方法
・ご使用後は、できるだけ早く食器洗浄器や手洗いで洗ってください。
・茶渋やコーヒー等の着色汚れは、メラミンスポンジをお使い頂くと落ちやすくなります。


Our tea utensils are carefully made by craftspeople in Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture, a pottery production area with a history of over 400 years.

From the old days, their way of creating functional and unique products that are in tune with the times, by developing new techniques with adaptable ideas and strong curiosity, has continuously been passed down to this day.

The teapot is completed as one of the tea utensils with a lot of time and effort by molding the main body, lid, tea strainer, spout, and handle separately, assembling them, and then firing them.
This slightly small teapot has a capacity of approximately 2.5 cups of the teacup, which allows you to savor every last drop of the tea’s concentrated flavor.

The nearly spherical shape of the main body makes tea leaves circulate easily in the hot water, and the tea strainer is made of semi-spherical porcelain that has no metallic odor, allowing the original aroma and taste of the tea to be fully brought out.

In addition, the teacups have a narrow bud-shaped lip to concentrate the aroma and allow you to enjoy the tea.
They are designed to produce a nice mouthfeel, and for the tea to fall on the tip of your tongue, making you feel the flavor and sweetness first.
